Whacked
out wild Filipino supernatural thriller
about a woman who is thrown into a snake
pit by evil family members. Before dying
she is raped by a giant snake and gives
birth to a baby snake girl, who is raised
by the snakes in the pit. Once of age,
the snake girl, complete with snakes for
hair arises from the pit to exact her
revenge on those who killed her mother.
Filled with an almost mondo movie like
quality, Snake Girl is a prime example
of the bizarre features coming out of
the third world in the 1970’s. Highly
recommended cultural weirdness.
